~~~ Walnut Ink Crystals ~~~
walnut ink, altered art, ageing, antiqueing
Walnut ink crystals are my favorite "instant gratification" in aging EVERYTHING! I never use tea or coffee since the solution will mold over a short period of time. I always have a jar of my "secret" mix ready for use on my art table. When it gets low, I just mix the next batch and replenish whatever is left in the bottom of the jar. Then I adjust the solution to my liking. I never throw away any excess. Not even the dried up dregs in the bottom. All you need to do is - simply add 3-5 pinches of crystals per cup of water for staining/aging. If you desire calligraphy ink, then 1 -2 pinches per tablespoon of water should be good. You will soon find a mix to your own liking. Just play around with it. I love to spritz it on ribbons or fabrics to make them appear vintage. As for me - the crustier, the older, the better. Beloved husband says that's why I like him! When you're ready to age something (other than your Beloved)click here to get Walnut Ink Crystals!!
And just how do you make that perfectly, unperfect, aged document? We'll show you - click here.
After you watch the tutorial, be sure to click here to ask for a free trial-size sample of crystals with any order.
